Integrative Breathwork: East & West, Mind & Body
Instructors:
- Bill Gallagher PT, CMT, CYT.
- Richard Sabel MA, MPH, OTR, GCFP.
Are you putting enough emphasis on how your clients breathe? Breathing pattern disorders limit functional performance, cause or perpetuate chronic pain conditions and feed into tension and anxiety.
Participants will learn a program suited to individual and group work with a broad spectrum of clients spanning the very ill to the very athletic. This course will integrate ideas and information from the East and West including Yoga, Qigong, Feldenkrais and Tai Chi to develop a common framework for understanding breath.
Experience the power of breathwork to improve posture, develop balance, reduce pain, soothe mental agitation, enhance spinal stability, promote coordinated movement, facilitate learning and improve function.
